Our Stories

We win through our people

Our employees are at the heart of everything we do. It’s the thousands of talented, creative, and inspiring individuals - lending their unique voices and working together behind the scenes - that fuels true innovation that impacts millions.

Take a peek behind the scenes and discover what it's really like working at Kelly.

Standing up for what’s right

We’re a company that has stood up for opportunity for all since day one. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to improve their lives through meaningful work opportunities. That’s what equity at work is all about.

Several barriers exist across society today that make it hard (or even impossible) for people to attain enriching work, reach their full potential, and ultimately, thrive. Rarely challenged, these obstacles leave capable people excluded. At Kelly, we won’t rest until more barriers to workforce entry and advancement are undone. The result? A more inclusive workforce where brighter futures are widespread.

employee about us

I have enjoyed working for KellyConnect over the past 11 years because of the amazing people that make up our organization. It is truly a pleasure.

A: I finished school and was entering the workforce during the Great Recession in 2009, which was an extremely challenging time for many in the labor market. Millions of people had lost their jobs and unemployment was peaking. I was lucky enough to find a job as a recruiter and it became my mission and passion to connect people with jobs, helping those effected get back to work and families get back on their feet. Since then, I have never wanted to leave this field! It is so rewarding to change someone’s life by connecting them with their dream job or supporting the success of a company by finding their super star employee.

A: I started as a Recruiter for KellyConnect in 2015 and quickly moved up into recruiting leadership. I spent a few years as the Recruiting Supervisor, overseeing the day-to-day tasks of the recruiting team. As time went on and KellyConnect continued to grow very rapidly, my leader and I noticed a missing piece in our process that aligned with my strengths. We needed someone to dedicate time to researching the labor market, understanding trends among candidates, being able to deep dive into all available marketing options and training programs to reach the best candidates for our clients. Data and research has always been my strong suit, so with my supervisor, we began to build a position that utilized my strengths and would greatly benefit the KellyConnect Recruiting team. I am now fully dedicated to strategy and research of all KellyConnect recruiting efforts!

A: I have two pieces of advice that I like to give someone entering the work force for the first time or looking for a career change:

1: Ask Questions - Do research and ask questions about the culture of a company. Find out how the organization that you are interested in invests in their employees. Look for a company where the vision and passions align with yours, so its a place that you want to grow with, and they also want to help you grow and succeed!

2: Continue Learning - Brush up on old skills and continue adding new ones. Whether it’s an online course, or just individual research on new technology or information in the field, always continue expanding your knowledge and show that you are excited to learn!

Partnerships Matter

Partnerships Matter

The partnership between Kelly and Best Buddies was established to create a sustainable employment model for individuals with Intellectual Development Disabilities (IDD), while fortifying Kelly’s commitment to social inclusion and development. Through Kelly’s constant evaluation and research processes, we have determined that approximately 80 percent of people with developmental disabilities do not have a paid job in the community. Having a more robust inclusion program for those with disabilities will enable them to become financially independent through their own efforts and will remove the need for government reliance or parental support.
